Microsoft Word Menus 

(A). Home Tab/Menu; -
1.       Clipboard: -
The office clipboard works with the standard copy and paste commands. Just copy an item to the office clipboard to add it your collection, and then paste it from the office clipboard into any office document at any time. The collected item stay on the office clipboard until you exit all office programs or you delete the items from the clipboard task pane.
                   I.            Cut (Ctrl+x) 
 In this option we can Cut the selection from the document and put it on the clipboard.
                II.            Copy (Ctrl+c)
In this option we can Copy the selection and put it on the clipboard.
             III.            Paste (Ctrl+V)
In this option we can Paste the content of the clipboard.
              IV.            Format Painter
In this option we can Copy formatting from one place and apply it to another. Double click on this button to apply the same formatting to multiple places in the document.
2.      Font
You can specify how you want text appear by selecting option in the font dialog box. Using this tool a user can use different font and apply appearance to it.
                   I.            Bold (Ctrl+B)
In this option we can make the selected text bold.
                II.            Italic (Ctrl+I)
In this option we can italicize the selected text.
             III.            Underline (Ctrl+U)
In this option we can underline the selected text.
              IV.            Strikethrough
In this option we can draw a line through the middle of the selected text.
                 V.            Subscript (Ctrl+=)
In this option we can create small letters below the text base line.
              VI.            Superscript (Ctrl+shift++ )
In this option we can create small letters above the line of text.
           VII.            Change case
In this option we can Change all the selected text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, or other capitalization.
VII.         Grow font (Ctrl+Shift+>)
In this option we can Increase the font size.
        VIII.            Shrink font (Ctrl+Shift+<)
In this option we can Decrease the font size.
              IX.            Text highlight color
In this option we can make a text look like it was marked with a highlighter pen.
                 X.            Font color
In this option we can Change the font color.
              XI.            Clear Formatting
In this option we can clear all the formatting from the selection, leaving the plain text.
3.      Paragraph: -
Paragraph determines Line Spacing, Alignment of the text and Bullet and Numbering, Paragraph, Marking as well as Sorting.
                   I.            Bullets
In this option we can start a bullet list.
                II.            Numbering
In this option we can start a number list
             III.            Multi level List
In this option we can start a multi level list.
              IV.            Decrease Indent
In this option we can Decrease the indent level of the paragraph.
                 V.            Increase Indent
In this option we can Increase the indent level of the paragraph.
              VI.            Sort
In this option we can alphabetize the selected text or sort numerical data.
           VII.            Paragraph
In this option we can show paragraph marks and other hidden formatting symbol.

        VIII.            Align Text Left (Ctrl+L)
In this option we can align text to the left.
              IX.            Align Text Right (Ctrl+R)
In this option we can align text to the right.
                 X.            Centre (Ctrl+E)
In this option we can centre text.
              XI.            Justify (Ctrl+J)
In this option we can align text to both the left and right margins, adding extra space between words as necessary. This create clean look along the left and right side of the page.
           XII.            Line Spacing
In this option we can Change the spacing between lines of text. You can also customize the amount of space added before and after the paragraphs.
        XIII.            Shading
In this option we can color the background behind the selected text or paragraph.
         XIV.            Bottom Border
In this option we can customize the boarder of the selected cells or text.
4.      Style: -
Styles are sets of style that are designed to work together to create an attractive and professional looking document.
                   I.            Style types
In this option we can format title quotes and other text using this gallery of styles.
                II.            Change style
Change the set of styles, colors and fonts used in this document.
5.      Editing: -
In word 2007/2010, you can Find and Replace a word or number or symbols with the tools embedded. You can select all text or partial to apply a formatting.
                   I.            Find (Ctrl+F)
In this option we can find text in the document.
                II.            Replace (Ctrl+H)
In this option we can replace text in the document.
             III.            Select
In this option we can select text or object in the document. Use select object to allow you to select object that have been positioned behind the text.


(B) Insert Tab
1.       Pages: -
This allows you to insert a Blank Page or the Page Break anywhere in the document you want. You can compose cover page of a document title page.
                    I.            Cover page: -
In this option we can insert a fully-formatted cover page. You fill in the title, author, date and other information.
                  II.            Blank Page: -
In this option we can insert a new blank page at the cursor position.
               III.            Page Break: -
In this option we can start the next page at the current position.
2.       Tables: -
A powerful tool in Microsoft word to insert tables and manipulating it. It Allow you to alter rows and columns.
In this option we can Insert or draw a table into the document.
3.       Illustrations: -
Group of tools provide facility to insert Pictures, Clip Art, Shapes and Charts into the document.
                    I.            Picture
                In this option we can insert a picture.
                  II.            Clip Art
                In this option we can insert clip art into the document, Including drawings, Movies, Sounds or Stock photography to illustrate a specific concept.
               III.            Shapes
In this option we can insert ready- made shapes, such and rectangles and circles, arrows, lines, flowchart symbols and callouts.
              IV.            Smart Art
In this option we can insert a smart art graphic to visually communicate information.
Smart graphic range from graphical lists and process diagrams to more complex graphics, such as Venn diagrams and organization charts.
